On playing a character with no redeeming qualities:"Well, the idea of playing a guy that out there, that far gone, is kind of like you have a brand new shiny driver's license and your Dad comes up and gives you the keys to the car with a full tank of gas and just says 'Go wherever you want to kid.'"
"It was the first time I'd ever found myself going to a director going 'Is there anything else we can shoot? You know, let's make something up. I want to stay, you know, I want to do more.' I enjoyed every second of it."
