George Pennacchio: Johnny Depp is in the middle of a scary situation in the creepy thriller "Secret Window." He plays an author who believes he's being stalked by a man who claims Depp's character plagiarized one of his stories. That sets in motion a series of twists and turns to get to the truth, and that mystery and mayhem was enough to get Johnny on the spot.
Johnny: Yeah, it was certainly the appealing factor to me when I was reading the script. I mean, I was...each turn of the page was a new surprise and a new avenue to go down. I was blown away by that, yeah, by the story, by the writing.
