Johnny: "The Brave" for me was about a lot of stuff that I wanted to expose.



Johnny: I drove across America, and I saw places like that. I've been on the reservations, you know, where these people are not given their due. All that was promised to the Native Americans in the 1800's was all a lie. It was all a big lie.



Floyd "Red Crow" Westerman: I believe that the story of a young man who wishes to sacrifice his life that his people might live, in a sense, is in an Indian point of view honorable sacrifice.
